Alfalfa
Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) – is a legume plant, rich in protein, vitamins, phytoestrogens, and chlorophyll. Promotes the healing of erosions, ulcers, open wounds, helps fight infection, increases the elasticity of arteries, reduces cholesterol, triglycerides and blood sugar, increases hemoglobin content, prevents the development of atherosclerosis and complications of diabetes. Indicated for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, chronic and acute cystitis, prostatitis, arthritis, rheumatism. Alfalfa increases lactation in nursing mothers, helps restore normal estrogen levels, and is necessary for women during menopause and for the prevention of breast cancer.
